Pascal Gerken is the 2018-2019 YPO Chairman, the organization’s highest elected office. As a member of YPO Brussels and YPO Yangon, he became the 67th YPO Chairman on 1 July 2018.
He joined YPO in 2006 and has served in multiple roles across the organization, including chapter chair of YPO Brussels, regional chair of Europe and Chair of the Membership Council. In addition, Gerken has actively championed and supported the expansion of YPO throughout the world, founding the YPO Myanmar, YPO Alcatraz and YPO Euro Star Chapters.
Outside of YPO, he is CEO of Gerken Group, a leading company in carbon and graphite technology, Co-Founder of GRAGER SA, a real estate group with assets in Berlin, Germany, and Brussels, Belgium, as well as Founder of Coral Green Myanmar, a hospitality company dedicated to building sustainable resorts in emerging markets.
Gerken attended the Institut Supérieur Européen du Tourisme in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He then joined the academy of cavalry military officer in Bourg-Leopold in the Belgian province of Limburg and spent two years as a Lieutenant in the 1st Regiment of Lanciers before he was called back into the family business.
J. Randall “Randy” Waterfield served as the 2017-2018 YPO Chairman and is currently Chair of the Governance and Succession Committee and of the Compensation and HR Committee.
Waterfield is Chairman of Waterfield Group, a diversified financial services holding company that traces its origins to 1928. While originally founded as a mortgage and insurance company, Waterfield Group has since diversified into technology, real estate, and asset management. Waterfield holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a member of Mensa, and a graduate of Harvard University.
He currently also serves on the Board of Directors of Asure Software (Nasdaq: ASUR), SMTC Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTX), Red Oak Partners, and WTI Holdings.
