Founded in 1970, Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) has offices on four continents and has worked with two-thirds of the Fortune 1000. The non-profit, with a focus serving leaders at all levels, is dedicated to advancing the understanding, practice, and development of leadership for the benefit of society worldwide.

Through the YPO partnership, CCL provides YPO with customized executive learning events for its members and key associates, focused on teaching critical skills to help them become more effective leaders. Harvard Business School

2021 marks the 69th year of the YPO/Harvard Business School leadership program, the longest-standing executive education program at YPO. The YPO/Harvard Presidents’ Program embodies the best of YPO’s goal of Lifelong Learning. Harvard has offered an unparalleled setting for YPO members to step back from their day-to-day business demands to explore new ideas relating to business, strategy and execution, to become inspired and to embrace new friendships. Over the decades, Harvard Business School Executive Education and YPO have collaborated to expand programs to serve the whole of YPO community through the Spouse partners and YPO networks program offerings. HBS professors impact member’s leadership development with ad-hoc interventions in chapters and regions.

London Business School

INSEAD

Family businesses represent 33% of YPO global membership. The YPO-INSEAD Global Family Enterprise Academy is a ground-breaking program created exclusively for YPO family and generational businesses. The program offers a multi module approach targeting different regions and leveraging INSEAD multi campus facilities. This comprehensive program integrates learning from entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy, finance, governance and psychology. YPO members develop new insights about themselves, their family and their business to improve their leadership and power business growth.

YPO believes in business as a force for good in the world beyond generating prosperity and wealth. Achieving impact beyond profit motivates, our members across the world to make a difference in lives, businesses and communities.

B Lab

A leader in economic systems change, the B Lab Global Network creates standards, policies, and tools for business, and certifies companies — known as B Corps — who are leading the way. Its core initiative, the B Corp Certification, is a certification of for-profit companies that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

As a result of the partnership, championed by YPO’s Sustainable Business Network (SBN), B Lab collaborates with YPO to produce learning experiences, which include appearances by various leaders from the B Lab Global Network, as well as well-known leaders of small, mid-size and multi-national organizations from its network. Members who are interested in the B Corp certification are encouraged to join the B Corp Certification Sub Network within the SBN. YPO also facilitates introductions between YPO members and the B Lab Global Partner Network for developing local events and insight into the B Corp Certification process.

GIIN

The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing. By convening impact investors to facilitate knowledge exchange, highlighting innovative investment approaches, building the evidence base for the industry, and producing valuable tools and resources, the GIIN seeks to accelerate the industry’s development through focused leadership and collective action.

GIIN collaborates with YPO to create customized learning events for YPO members, utilizing the resources, platforms and tools available through GIIN, including IRIS+, a system for measuring and managing impact. These events support YPO’s Impact Investing Initiative (Y3i) to help YPO members use business as a force for good and create measurable impact. In addition, YPO members have the opportunity to provide their thought leadership and expertise around impact investing within the GIIN community as well as participate in research opportunities with the network and attend GIIN events.

ITU

ITU is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies – ICTs.
Founded in 1865 to facilitate international connectivity in communications networks, ITU allocates global radio spectrum and satellite orbits, develops the technical standards that ensure networks and technologies seamlessly interconnect and strives to improve access to Information and Communication Technologies to underserved communities worldwide. Through ITU’s 154-years of operations, ITU has developed extensive and trusted deep relationships at the highest level in all major sectors including agencies, funds and programs in the United Nations system, governments, industry, academia, media and civil society.

The desired benefit of aligning these two strong networks is to collaboratively and effectively share resources, knowledge and experiences, and conduct collaborative projects for mutual benefit which lead to positive impact in the world.

UN Women

YPO and the United Nations Women HeForShe initiative are partnering to develop and foster a community of global chief executive allies to positively impact gender equality.

UN Women, the United Nations entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women, works to develop and uphold standards and create an environment in which every woman and girl can exercise her human rights and live up to her full potential. Created in 2014, by the United Nations, the HeForShe solidarity movement for gender equality provides a systematic approach and targeted platform on which men and boys can engage and become change agents towards the achievement of gender equality.

One of the main tenants of this relationship has been the establishment of groundbreaking research around the global chief executive journey through the lens of gender equality. Information gathered benchmarked existing opportunities and challenges and revealed actionable takeaways to effectively foster gender equality in all levels of business.

Additionally, YPO and HeForShe created co-branded virtual learning programs and discussion tools for YPO members to explore the impact of gender roles and the importance of addressing gender equality. YPO and UN Women local offices will also connect for further collaboration and allyship opportunities.

XPRIZE

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) since 1994, the XPRIZE Foundation has designed and operated seventeen competitions in the domain areas of Space, Oceans, Learning, Health, Energy, Environment, Transportation, Safety and Robotics. Our first XPRIZE, the $10 million Ansari XPRIZE for private spaceflight, spurred an industry and created exponential breakthroughs. Since then we have launched over $140 million in prize purses, including the $15 million Global Learning XPRIZE, the $10 million Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE, and the $1.4 million Wendy Schmidt Oil Cleanup XPRIZE. Each of these prizes has created an industry-changing technology that brings us closer to a better, safer, more sustainable world.
