Tania Austin

Managing Director at Decjuba, Australia/New Zealand

Looking forward is the key to Tania’s drive. After gaining invaluable experience as the Co-Owner of the Cotton On Group, Tania purchased DECJUBA in 2008. Seeing the business’ potential Tania has pursued a strong growth plan, taking the business from 8 stores to 88 with a more locations scheduled to open before the end of 2018.

Keeping a strong customer focus has been at the heart of Tania’s expansion strategy. In addition to DECJUBA’s impressive store footprint, Tania has also overseen the development of the business’ online store and most recently the launch of the New Zealand website. DECJUBA’s online business ensures its ever-growing international demand is fulfilled.

Delivering amazing at every touch point, Tania challenges her team to think outside the box. Tania’s desire to innovate & diversify, has led to the creation of new brands that capture new audiences. The launch of D-LUXE Basics in 2016 was an extension of DECJUBA’s easy-yet-edgy aesthetic. Whilst the launch of DECJUBA Kids in 2017 aimed to disrupt the market for girls aged 8-16, providing a new, fashion forward destination for teenage girls.

As DECJUBA continues to grow, Tania has philanthropic pursuits at the front of her mind, driven by her strong desire to give back on a broader scale. Tania has driven The Hunger Project x DECJUBA collaboration, which has seen DECJUBA raise over $300,000 for the female focused charity, who Tania has worked closely with over a number of years. Whilst this collaboration has been a key focus for DECJUBA, Tania is also passionate about supporting local charities and initiatives.
