Sivan Yaari is the Founder and CEO of Innovation: Africa, an Israeli-founded nonprofit transforming rural Africa through solar energy and water technologies. Over the past 18 years, she has led the implementation of large-scale solar water pumping and electrification projects in more than 1,400 villages across 10 African countries, bringing clean water and electricity to over 6 million people.
Recognized globally for her visionary leadership and measurable impact, Sivan has built one of the most transparent and scalable development models in the sector, with live remote monitoring of every project and long-term local capacity building. Her work has received numerous international honors, including a United Nations Innovation Award, and she was selected to light the torch at Israel’s 75th Independence Day ceremony in recognition of her humanitarian achievements.
Through Innovation: Africa, Sivan continues to demonstrate how technology, transparency and bold leadership can lift entire communities out of poverty and create lasting, sustainable change across the African continent.
