Robert Chiu, Group President at Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited

Robert is the President of Shanda Group, tasked with managerial responsibilities of all business units with a particular focus on heading the Group’s private equity and venture capital investments globally. He is also deeply involved in the Group’s philanthropic efforts. Robert, with more than 20 years of international experience and sound track record in technology, finance and investment banking, and Internet industries; has played a critical role in Shanda Group’s transformation since 2012.

Robert was awarded the 2014 Economic Leader of China by China Economic Development Forum. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Copyright Society of the People’s Republic of China. Robert earned his Master of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, with a Fulbright scholarship.
