For more than 20 years, Paul has served as Managing Director for Southwestern Petroleum Corporation (SWEPCO), an 88-year-old global manufacturer of high-performance specialty products with plants in the US, Canada and Europe and was the catalyst for the company’s dramatic transformation.

During his tenure, the company realized 10 consecutive years of record growth and profits making SWEPCO a world leader in the $25 billion industry. The company revolutionized the industry by launching Energy Saving Synthetic Products and Services and becoming the 1st Energy Star Partner manufacturer, pioneered key Construction, Mining, Marine, Food Grade and Biodegradable markets, added custom blending and private-labeling, smoothly integrated several acquisitions while hiring and training more than 1,000 new field service reps to expand worldwide distribution to more than 110 countries.

Previously, Paul was a Director, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for SWEPCO’s Industrial Protective Coatings business where he led a company reorganization and rebirth. Paul developed proprietary elastomeric urethane Coatings & Systems and led a startup division offering turnkey commercial installations while adding hundreds of distributors and agents throughout the world. Early in his career, Paul served as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s European subsidiary optimizing the manufacturing operations, writing and implementing a total Quality Management System (QMS) and attaining ISO Certification. Paul brings significant international expertise having traveled the world extensively throughout his career as well as living and working abroad for more than 5 years.

Prior to SWEPCO, Paul was a senior manager for DHRG, a publicly traded group of recruiting agencies and began his career in New York with Lebenthal & Co, a Wall Street Investment Firm. Paul holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and Certifications from the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers and is a respected Reliability and Energy Educator.

Paul earned a Leadership Certificate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a graduate of the Stagen Leadership Academy in Dallas. Paul is an active Member of YPO currently serving on the YPO Regional Board for the Western US Gold, the Board for the YPO Global Family Business Network and as Board Chairman for the YPO Fort Worth Gold Chapter. Paul is also a longtime Board Director and past Board President of the JDRF International Greater Fort Worth Chapter. Paul is passionate about lifelong learning and serving others. He is an avid runner, a highly rated keynote speaker & trainer and a trusted mentor and coach. Paul resides in Texas with his wife and three sons.
