Michael Murdoch
Michael Murdoch is a Vice President in the Asset and Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs. He joined the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) in June 2015 as a member of the Tactical Asset Allocation team, where he focuses on identifying investment opportunities in commodities and related assets within the group’s USD7 billion macro overlay strategy. In his role as a strategist, Murdoch also communicates ISG’s macroeconomic, market and geopolitical views to the firm’s institutional asset management and private wealth management clients. Previously, he worked on the Hedge Fund Strategies team in the Investment Management Division, allocating capital to fundamental commodity and discretionary global macro funds. He received a B.S. from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management with an emphasis in finance.
