Luis Pedro Recinos has been a YPO member since 2015. He served as the 2020-2021 Chapter Chairman for the YPO Guatemala Chapter and is a member of the Central American Leadership Council (CALC). Recinos is the Managing Director for CMI Corporate, a diversified business conglomerate with strong market leadership in Central America and the Caribbean, and he is also a board member in his family´s sugar and energy business. Recinos teaches strategy and leadership courses for executive master´s programs in Guatemala and has been a resource speaker for several YPO events. Recinos is a TEDx speaker, and a passionate runner, reader, and writer. His book El legado de Thiago ranked No. 1 during its debut week on Amazon, in the self-help in Spanish category.
