Karn Manhas
Karn Manhas is the CEO & founder of Terramera, a global AgTech leader fusing science, nature and artificial intelligence to transform how food is grown and the economics of agriculture in the next decade.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in government, project management, community and business development, Manhas is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of Terramera and has raised over USD82 million to build, scale and execute on that plan.
Manhas’ diverse background spans being the youngest member of the Legislative Assembly elected in British Columbia in 2001 to being a TEDx speaker and sought-after thought leader on sustainability, clean food and innovative organizations. He is a member of YPO and Unreasonable Group, and in 2012 was named one of Business in Vancouver’s Top Forty Under 40 business people. Manhas holds a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Genetics) and Biotechnology from McGill University.
