A lawyer and Chartered Accountant, Rochelle Pattison was a Co-founder of Chimaera Capital in 1996 as a specialist trading arm of a U.S.-based hedge fund. Since that time, Chimaera has diversified to undertake a variety of activities including custody and safekeeping, investment management, corporate advisory and proprietary investing. Current major activities are focused on strategic litigation funding and the restructuring of distressed mining assets. Pattison maintains an active interest in field hockey; playing in the Hockey Victoria Open and Masters competitions. She lives in Melbourne with her wife and two sons and keeps hoping for a Carlton Football Club revival. (She is a committee member of the Carlton Pride coterie.) Transitioning from male to female in December 2017, she is loving leading an authentic life!
