EY Recognizes YPO Australia Members Among the Best and Brightest Entrepreneurs

Three individual YPO members, and a YPO member and spouse/partner team, have made it to the list of finalists in EY’s 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year® awards in Australia. EY is YPO’s Strategic Learning Advisor.

For the past 32 years, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® program has recognized outstanding business leaders around the world.

The YPO members recognized in this prestigious global business awards program for entrepreneurs include both regional and national finalists with disruptive and innovative enterprises in the retail, technology and entertainment sectors. YPO member and spouse/partner team, Tony and Sharon Rechtman, joint owners of Total Beauty Network are among the regional and national finalists recognized for their vision and achievements.

Rola Tassabehji began her career as a marketing trainee in Unilever Arabia and from there moved into several management roles within the marketing and communications function in Unilever global and regional teams, including brand development manager, Dove, Unilever Africa, Middle East, and Turkey and communications manager, Unilever North Africa and Middle East. Following ten years with Unilever, she relocated to Abu Dhabi, U.A.E and joined the team that launched INSEAD campus in the Middle East as external relations director. Rola completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Canada, has a Masters degree from the American University of Beirut and a post graduate degree in journalism from London School of Journalism.
