Forum

Knowing you have a place to discuss the issues that matter most to you.

Leading a company is energizing, challenging– and often lonely. Isolation can be part of life at the top, so YPO provides the confidential sounding board you need: Forum.

What keeps you up late at night?  Who can you go to for advice who truly understands the kinds of challenges you face?  Forum meets a universal need shared by young leaders at the top of their companies – a private place to discuss what matters most with true peers you respect and trust.

In more than 1,500 Forums around the world, small groups of 8 to 12 YPO members meet regularly to share issues and concerns in an atmosphere of confidentiality and trust. Every Forum operates on the same principles of mutual respect and privacy and is guided by a peer moderator.

“Forum is a tremendous and powerful tool, a place where you feel encouraged to discuss your deepest problems with the guarantee that members will try their best to help you.”

In addition to traditional, chapter-based Forums, members seeking a global experience have the opportunity to join Forums connecting peers from many countries in a culturally diverse group. Spouses or partners and the children of members also have the opportunity to benefit from this powerful tool for personal growth.

Most YPO members say Forum is their most valued asset, because the maxim holds true: it’s lonely at the top.   But it doesn’t have to be.

YPO FORUMS

Chapter-based Member Forums: The greatest number of Forums consist of 8-12 members from the same local chapter.

Chapter-based Spouse/Partner Forums: Just as members gain from their Forum participation, Spouse/Partner Forums provide an opportunity to connect in a confidential environment.

Couples Forums: Couples Forums provide the opportunity to develop a deeper relationship with your spouse or partner. In addition to Couples Forums within chapters, there are Regional Couples Forums and Global Couples Forums.

Regional and International Forums: Nearly 30 International and Regional Forums offer an alternative to members and spouses or partners seeking a Forum experience that is culturally diverse, expands their network and exists outside of their local chapter.

Young Adult and Youth Forums: Young Adult Forums (ages 23-39) and Youth Forums (ages 18-22) connect children of members in a global peer network. There are more than 70 Young Adult Forums and Youth Forums reaching nearly 600 young adults worldwide.

Network-based Forums: Many Networks have created Forums that are similar in structure to International and Regional Forums, but are based on a common professional focus or personal interest.
