YPO member Don Duval has spent his career blending the worlds of arts, science and education. He began with a degree in chemistry and a love for music, which prompted him to join a band.
Then following jobs as an engineer and a consultant in Europe, Don added entrepreneurship to his portfolio by co-founding a software technology company. Leveraging his own startup experience, he became vice president of the MaRS Discovery District incubator in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
After earning a masters degree in civil engineering and a university professorship, Don became CEO of NORCAT, the private, non-profit company based in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, Today, he uses his eclectic approach to bring culture, innovation and training to the mining industry.
