Episode 21: Dalya Tabari (IDS), Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Junk food, cigarettes, drugs and the well-being of children basically map out the professional trajectory of YPO member Dalya Tabari. Starting in advertising at Bates-141/Saatchi & Saatchi, Tabari rose from an account manager for companies like Pizza Hut and Johnson & Johnson to the head of Lucky Strike cigarettes’ global account. Then in 2003, she joined IDS, a major pharmaceutical distribution firm in the United Arab Emirates as its consumer marketing director and later was appointed managing director. Most recently, in 2012, Tabari co-founded The Developing Child Centre, which provides support for children with the goal of helping them succeed in life and reach their full potential.
