FORUM

A CEO's job is often characterized as being "lonely at the top." At YPO, Forum serves as an antidote to that isolation. A Forum is a group of YPO members who meet on a regular basis in an atmosphere of confidentiality, trust and openness to share in each other's business, family and personal experiences.

YPO Forum is the most personal form of peer networking at YPO. Specially trained Forum moderators guide discussions from a corporate mergers, to personal challenges such as sudden success, and the group functions as a personal board of advisors. Forum offers a safe environment for discussing the issues important to each member. The skills and insights gained carry over into leadership within a member’s business, family and community. Every day, YPOers around the world connect and exchange powerful ideas and deep experiences through Forum – often cited as the most valuable YPO experience.

A typical YPO Forum is composed of 8-10 peers who meet 10 times per year. YPO also offers Spouse Forum, Young Adult Forum, Action Forum, Couples Forum, Family Forum and International Forum. YPOers who meet for the first time use “Forum protocols” to begin speaking in a way that is instantly more intimate and trusting, even with other members they have never met.
